I underwent consultation and treatment for knee pain via the Olympia Clinic during 2022 and 2023. This included keyhole surgery to both knees performed by Mr Sivardeen. He was, throughout the process, a reassuring and friendly presence and proved to be a very skilful surgeon. One year later I am fully recovered and enjoying the results.

Mr Sivardeen is in my opinion and experience (six different orthopaedic operations on shoulders and knees) one of the very finest surgeons. He is cautious and fastidious, not wishing to operate unless it is strictly necessary, he is highly empathetic and understanding (I am in my sixties but want to behave like a 40 year old for which he did not chastise me) and extremely skilled. I had been left in considerable pain after a catastrophic shoulder injury and could not recover through an underlying inflammation of the long biceps tendon. He first attempted an injection to ease the pain to avoid operating on the shoulder a third time and then, when the results were unsatisfactory operated to relocate the long head of the biceps. The operation was a masterstroke: ending three years of pain and a lack of recovery and general depression caused by feeling unwell. At every stage I was kept informed by this gentle master of his profession. I think the man is a star- completely focussed on his patients' needs and with none of the swagger that we associate with surgeons in general! Always a fantastic experience with Ziali . He’s operated on both my knees with excellent results and without the need for a diagnosed replacement on one by another surgeon. I’m back playing padel tennis something i never thought possible . He’s a great guy to!
